- I promote the love of reading as the middle school librarian in Freeport, New York. I am also an adjunct professor at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University, where I teach students how to use literature in the school media center. I have published several articles on literary trends in Booklist, Library Media Connection, School Library Journal, and VOYA. Teen Chick Lit: A Guide to Reading Interests, published by Libraries Unlimited in December of 2009, was my first book.
